Located directly south of downtown Nashville, Tennessee, Avalon is an upscale community that sits in Franklin, just across the Brentwood line, and encompasses five Franklin neighborhoods, including The Meade of Avalon, The Village of Avalon, The Hamlet of Avalon, Tors of Avalon and Avalon in Cool Springs.

Avalon is made up of more than 300 acres, and there are nearly 650 additional acres that are under development to add to Avalon. All five Avalon neighborhoods are part of Williamson County schools.

Avalon in Franklin is a $300 million development that consists of residential Franklin homes, Franklin condominiums and Franklin townhouses. Avalon stretches from Cool Springs Boulevard on the eastern end, to McEwen Lane, and borders Wilson Pike on the east.

Meade of Avalon, TN has 257 residential units available, priced from around $290,000 up to nearly $460,000. The Meade of Avalon is part of Franklin's Avalon real estate, which lies near Cool Springs, and includes The Village of Avalon, The Hamlet of Avalon and Tors of Avalon. 

The Village of Avalon borders Cool Springs Boulevard on the western part of Avalon, as does The Hamlet of Avalon, a gated community. Home prices in The Village of Avalon and The Hamlet of Avalon start around $650,000 and go to nearly $1 million, and homes in these areas typically range from 3,500 square feet to 5,000 square feet.

Tors of Avalon, a gated community, is located near the middle of Avalon, and offers custom built Franklin homes and available lots. Tors of Avalon homes are typically situated on wooded lots that provide privacy to Tors of Avalon residents.

Avalon in Cool Springs is popular due to its location near the Cool Springs Mall and close proximity to I-65.
